8 December 2014 - A total of RM138.1 billion worth of cumulative investments have been committed in the SDC, of which RM50.4 billion has been realised, as of the end of November 2014, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman announced at the 17th meeting of the Members of the Authority.
25 November 2014 - During his visit to the Keningau Integrated Livestock Centre, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan said the project can help produce more high quality dairy breeds to be distributed to livestock breeders with the purpose of increasing dairy production and income.

24 September 2014 - SEDIA received a visiting group from Bank Negara Malaysia over the last two days, arranging for a briefing on the SDC and site visits to the Kimanis Power Plant and Sabah Agro-Industrial Precinct (SAIP).
